There are several ways to do in order to control the myopic progression

1. Orthokeratology

Orthokeratology (OK Lens/ Orthok) is a non-surgical treatment which use a specially designed RGP lens to reshape the cornea during sleeping. After removing the lens in the morning, myopic control effect and clear vision can be obtained without optical aids.

2. Myopic control spectacle

There are several types of myopic control spectacle lenses. One of the latest design is the Hoya MiyoSmart lenses.

MiyoSmart is designed by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University & Hoya. They apply the D.I.M.S. (Defocus Incorporated Multiple Segments) design into the lenses in order to provide the myopic control effect & clear vision at the same time. 

3. Myopic control contact lens

Like orthokeratology & myopic control spectacle, some contact lens also provide myopic defocus design to achieve myopic control effect. This kind of contact lens allows children to use at daytime which is convenient for sport use and suitable for situation which children do not want to wear spectacle.
